Schezwan Fried Prawns- Rachna
INGREDIENTS-:
500 grams prawns deveined
Ginger garlic paste or chopped app two spoons
One red bell pepper cut into cubes
One green bell pepper cut into cubes
One yellow bell pepper cut into cubes
Spring onions chopped (green portion for the garnish)
One onion cut into cubes
Vinegar
Red chilli powder
Schezwan sauce
Salt to taste
Cornflour/refined flour
Red chilli sauce
Oil for frying
METHOD-:
Marinate the prawns in salt, vinegar and red chilli powder. Before frying add two to three spoon of cornflour to the prawns in such way that each prawn is coated with it.
Heat the oil for frying. Now put the prawns in the oil for frying. Fry till the prawns are crisp. Take it out when done.
Now heat two spoons of oil in a wok. First add chopped ginger and garlic, saute for a while. Later add cubed onions, cook for a while. Then add all the cubed bell peppers, saute for couple of minutes. Add salt, red chilli sauce and schezwan sauce. Mix everything well and lastly add the fried prawns to it and give it a good toss. Garnish with the spring onions and serve hot.
Now this the dry version of schezwan fried prawns, if you want to make it in gravy, you just need to add the cornflour diluted in water after you adur desired consistency and serve with fried rice.
