A special Turkish delight for hot summer days Take – a bunch of red fresh basil leaves – 1,7 lt of water – 6 soup spoons of sugar – 1 table spoon of limon tuzu (crystalline citric acid) – fresh lemon – optional 300 ml of pomegranate juice – ice cubes – fresh mint leaves Put basil, sugar, some lemon slices and little mint in a big bowl. Add a very little bit of limon tuzu. Then add 90 degree hot water (not boiling). Let it rest for 20 min. Sift the tea, add pomegranate juice. Cool it down in the fridge and serve it with ice and mint leaves. Enjoy!
