Neither Mysore Pak not monthal ,try this unique sweet for Navratri! I named it as Panchratna burfi!

Ingredients–


Besan 1 cup
Coarsely ground almonds and cashew nuts 1 cup
Milk 1 cup
Ghee 1 _11/4 cup
Sugar 1 1/2 cup
Saffron a few strands
Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
Nuts to garnish

 

Method–


Sieve the besan.
Take via heavy bottomed pan add the ghee and mix well.
Add the milk, sugar , crushed nuts and saffron.
Mix properly.
Cook on medium flame for 3 to 4 min.
Keep stirring.
Reduce the flame.
Keep stirring .
Cook till the mixture is thick and starts leaving the sides of the pan.
Add the cardamom powder,mix briskly.
Pour into a greased tray.
Sprinkle some sliced almonds and pistachios
Allow it to cool a little.
Cut into pieces.
