Jaggery Phirni

 

Ingredients-

2 tbsp Gobind bhog rice
1/2lit full cream milk
1/4 cup jaggery
1/4 TSP green cardamom powder
as required Few chopped dry fruits

 

Cooking Instructions-

 

Firstly soak the rice in water for 30 minutes.

Discard the water and blend the rice to a coarse paste.

Take a pan boil milk. Stir and boil the milk in low flame for 10 minutes.

Now add the rice paste in the milk. Stir continuously for 5 minutes. Cook for another 5 minutes.

Boil the milk till the rice is fully cooked.

When the milk thickens and turns creamy and the rice is cooked, add jaggery and cardamom powder. Mix well.

Now switch off the flame and allow it to cool.

Serve chilled phirni and garnish with a few chopped nuts.
