Got bored of eating the same batata poha n Kanda poha? Try this poha with a twist! Green chana poha!
Ingredients–
Poha 2 cups Fresh Green chana 1 cup Green chillies 5 to 6 Ginger 1piece Curry leaves 8 Coriander leaves 2 tsp Oil 5 tsp Mustard seeds 1tsp Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp Hing1/4 tsp Lemon juice 2tsp Sugar 1tsp Salt to taste
Method–
Wash the poha and drain off the water. Cover and keep it aside. Take the fresh chana, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves in a mixer jar and crush them coarsely. Heat oil in a pan. Add the mustard seeds and jeera. When it splutters add the hing Add the crushed chana mixture and saute for 4 to 5 minutes. Add the turmeric powder and mix well. Now add the poha,salt, sugar, and lemon juice. Mix well. Cook for 2 minutes. Add chopped coriander leaves. You can also add cooked corn to it. Take into a serving bowl. Garnish with some chopped coriander leaves and fresh chana. Makes a sumptuous breakfast in winters!
