Gluten free jowar palak paratha
Ingredients –
Jowar atta 2cups
Palak 1.5 to 2 cups
Green chilies 4
Coriander leaves 2tbsp
Jeera 1 tsp
Oil
Salt to taste
Method-
Boil water in a pan.
Add chopped paalak.
Remove the paalak from boiling water with the help of a colander.
Pour cold water on it immediately.
Boil 1 cup of water.
Take jowar atta in a thali.
Boil 1 cup of water with salt.
Pour over the jowar atta.
Take the blanched paalak, jeera, coriander and green chilies in a mixie jar.
Make a paste without adding water.
Add this paste to the jowar atta.
Make a smooth dough.
Sprinkle a little water if needed.
Make into a smooth dough.
Grease your hands with oil and the dough very well.
Make equal size balls and roll into paratha.
If you want perfect round paratha cut with a plate.
Cook the parathas on tawa like normal parathas using oil .
Keep pressing with a spatula while cooking to puff up the parathas.
Serve hot with ketchup, and curd or raita.
Ideal for breakfast or dinner.
