Cabbage parcels By Pramila Goswami

Ingredients:-


Wheat flour 2 cups
Oil 2tbsp
Salt
Stuffing
Cabbage grated (not fine)2cups
Oil 2tsp
Mustard seeds 1tsp
Cumin seeds1/2tsp
Asafoetida 1/4 tsp(hing)
Green chillies finely chopped 8
Ginger finely chopped 1tsp
Coriander leaves finely chopped 2tbsp
Curry leaves 8
Lemon juice
Salt
Sugar 1tsp(optional)
Oil for frying

 

Preparation Method:-


Take wheat flour in a bowl add salt mix well.
Heat the oil and pour into the atta.
Add water and make tight dough.
Keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add mustard, cumin and hing.
Now add green chillies, ginger, curry leaves and saute.
Add salt,lemon juice, sugar saute till its almost dry. Remove from gas.
Add the cabbage and mix till gets blended .
Roll the atta on a board,cut into rectangles.
Apply water on all the sides. Place filling at one side.
Fold the other side to cover the filling.
Press the sides properly and press with a fork.
Deep fry in hot oil on slow gas.
Serve with sweet chutney oe
ketchup
Option for healthy cooking you can even steam them like momos!
