BAJRI VADA By Pramila Goswami
Bajri vada is a gujarati traditonal snack item which is eaten during winter! This snack is made with simple basic ingredents! It can be served hot as well cold! Gujaratis change their menu according to the season.
Ingredients–
Bajra flour 2cups
Ghee 2 tbsp
Sour curd 3/4 cup
Green chillies crushed 2tbsp
Sesame seeds(til) 4tsp
Hing 1/4 tsp
Salt
Oil for deep frying
Method–
Take bajra atta into a bowl.
Add crushed green chillies,chopped curry leaves, sesame seeds,hing and salt mix well.
Heat the ghee and pour into the mixture.
Mix and add the curd little by little.
Make a stiff dough.
You can sprinkle little water IF REQUIRED.
Divide dough into equal parts.
Make balls press them to give the shape of peda.
Heat the oil in a pan on slow flame.
Deep fry the vadas till golden brown.
Serve hot or cold with a cup of tea!
