Today’s breakfast jowar roti with unusual combination subji green tomato and capsicum which can be made in a jiffy!
Try this simple yet super tasty subji!

 

Ingredients–

 

Green tomato 3
Capsicum 4
Green chillies 2
Ginger 1 “piece
Curry leaves 6
Coriander
Chilly powder 1/2 tsp
Dhania jeera powder 1/2 tsp
haldi powder 1/4 tsp
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Jeera 1/2 tsp
Hing 1/8 tsp
Oil 2 tsp
Garam masala 1/4tsp optional
Jaggery 1/2 tsp
Roasted and crushed peanuts 1 tsp
Besan1/2 tsp
Salt to taste

 

Method–


Chop the green tomatoes and capsicum into medium size pieces.
Slit the green chilies, chop the ginger, curry leaves and coriander.
Heat the oil in a pressure .
Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
When they splutter add the hing.
Add the besan and fry .
When the colour changes add the green chilies, ginger, curry leaves.
Add the tomatoes.
Saute for 2 to 3 mins.
Add haldi powder, chilly powder, dhania jeera powder and garam masala.
Mix and add the capsicum.
Add salt and jaggery.
Mix well.
Add half cup of water.
Add crushed peanuts and mix well.
When it starts boiling cover with the lid.
Allow to cook on medium heat till one whistle.
Allow the pressure released.
Open the cooker.
Add chopped coriander.
Mix well and transfer the subji into a serving bowl.
Garnish with chopped coriander and some peanuts.
Serve hot with rotis or parathas!
