Make this south indian easy to make snack with interesting twist!
Ingredients–
Rawa (sooji) 1cup
Mixed vegetables cut into long pieces (beans,carrot, green peas, cauliflower, cabbage)etc1/3 cup
Corn 2tbsp
Tomato 1(optional)
Green chillies slit and cut 4
Chopped ginger 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves 10
Coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Urad dal 1/2 tbsp
Chana dal 1/2 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1tsp
Hing 1/4 tsp
Whole red chilly broken 1
Ghee 1 to 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Method–
Water 2 1/2 cup+1/3 cup for veggies
Take the vegetables in a bowl .
Pour 1/3 cup water .
Cover and cook for 5 minutes on slow flame.
Heat the oil.
Add the dals, mustard seeds,red chilly and hing.
Add the chopped tomato, green chillies, ginger and curry leaves saute.
Meanwhile add 2and 1/2 cups of water and corn to the boiling vegetables.
Allow it to boil.
Add the rawa to the tomato tadka mixture.
Fry 5 minutes.
Add the salt
Add the boiling water with vegetables.
Cook till the water is absorbed but not too dry.
Add lemon juice.
Mix well.
Add coriander.
Garnish with corn and coriander.
Serve hot with coconut chutney!
