Rice 1 cup Urad dal 1/4 cup Methi seeds 1/4 tsp Curd 1/4 cup Soda bi carb 1/4tsp Sugar 1tsp Oil 2 tsp Salt to taste Hing1/8 tsp Corn 4 tsp (sweet or Desi) Methi leaves finely chopped 1/4 cup Green chillies 3 finely chopped Ginger crushed 1/8 tsp Coriander leaves finely chopped Curry leaves 6 chopped
Method–
Wash the rice,dal and methi seeds and soak for 5 to 6 hrs. Remove the water and grind into slightly coarse batter Add salt,soda, sugar and curd . Mix well. Allow to ferment for 6 hrs. Then add the corn, methi leaves, green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves,curry leaves,oil and hing. Mix well. Pour into a greased tray and steam cook till done. Cool and cut into pieces. Serve with green chutney or Gujarati pickle masala संभार
