Sugar 3/4 cup Ghee 1/2 cup Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp Pistachio sliced for garnishing
Method–
Take sugar in a pan. Add 1/3 cup water. Make sugar syrup of one string consistency. Meanwhile heat the ghee on another gas. Add the grated coconut to the sugar syrup. Cook on medium heat. Start adding HOT ghee with a laddle. Keep stirring in one direction. When ghee is absorbed fully add another laddle of HOT ghee. Repeat the same procedure till the ghee gets over. Add cardamom powder. Stir the mixture fast in one direction. When the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan colour starts changing pour into a greased tray. Sprinkle some pistachio slices for garnishing. Allow it to set. Make cuts with a knife. Cool completely and take into a serving plate!
