GABHA ROTI by pramila goswami

Today I am sharing a ROTI recipe which is very different from our normal roti! This is called GABHA ROTI a Gujarati traditional roti !It’s very simple and ideal for monsoon and winter season!


Ingredients–


Wheat flour 1cup
Jowar flour 1 cup
Rice flour 1 cup
Green chillies and ginger fine paste 1/2 tsp
Salt
Ghee for applying on rotis
Rice flour for dusting

 

Method–

  
Mix three flours and take into a bowl.
Add chilly ginger paste and salt.
Mix well.
Add hot water little by little.
Mix with a spoon first and then with hands.
Make a smooth dough.
Cover and keep aside for atleast 20 minutes.
Knead again and make balls.
Roll into thin rotis with rolling pin dusting rice flour.
Heat the tawa and cook the roti on it and then on flame like normal phulkas .
Apply ghee and serve hot with any subji ,dal or raita!
