Mysore pak is an Indian traditional dessert! Since it’s an age old recipe it doesn’t require any fancy ingredients. Only a few basic ingredients are used in this recipe but it requires skill.
Ingredients–
Besan 1 cup Refined oil 1/2 cup Ghee 1 1/2 cup Sugar 2 cups Water 1/2 cup
Method–
Sieve the besan. Take ina bowl and add oil to it. Take sugar in a pan ,add the water. Heat on low flame . Keep stirring. On another gas heat the ghee. When sugar is dissolved and you get one string consistency syrup pour the besan. Mix well. Add a laddle of hot ghee to it. Keep stirring. When ghee is absorbed pour ghee with the laddle again. Repeat the process till all the is added. After the whole ghee is absorbed and the mixture becomes frothy and fluffy pour into a greased tray. Tap the tray lightly. When it starts setting cut into desired shape. Allow it to cool. Unmould the pieces. Its ready to serve
