Mango burfi our family special which is normally made in a elaborate way!But I have started making in a simpler way without compromising with the taste!
Ingredients-
Alphonso mangoes 4
milk pd 4tbsp
sugar 1cup
ghee 2tsp
saffron a few strands
cardamom pd 1/4 tsp
almonds n pistachios to garnish
Method-
Exctact the pulp of the ma goes. Take in a heavy bottom pan add saffron and cook on medium heat. Keep stirring, cook till the the mixture becomes thick. Add milk pd and ghee,mix well. Add sugar.keep stirring till the mixture becomes like a ball and starts leaving the side of the pan. Add cardamom pd mix and pour into a greased tray. Sprinkle nuts on top for garnishing. Allow it to cool and cut into pieces
