Ingredients-
Maida 1cup
Ghee 2tsp
Sugar 3/4 cup
Ghee or refined oil for deep frying
Maida 1 tbsp+2tsp ghee beat well to apply
Cardamom powder1/4 tsp
Almond and pistachios for garnishing
Take maida into a bowl.
Add the ghee and mix with your finger tips.
Add water and make a stiff dough.
Cover and keep aside.
Add 1/2 cup water to the sugar.
Method-
Make sticky syrup like gulabjamun.
Add cardamom powder
Now knead the dough and make balls.
Roll into thin puris.
Apply the ghee+ maida paste on one puri .
Place another puri on it again apply the paste.
You can make 3to 4 layers.
Apply the maida paste on the top layer also.
Roll it tightly stretching slightly .
Cut them into 1 inch pieces. Again roll them lightly.
Deep fry on medium flame.
Put them in warm syrup for 10 minutes.
Remove from syrup and garnish with almonds and pistachios.
