A quick sweet गुड पोहा which you can prepare with simple ingredients available at home and doesn’t need much cooking!


Ingredients: 


poha which we use for batata poha1cup

jaggery3/4 cup

grated preferably fresh coconut2tsp

if fresh coconut is not available you can use dry coconut

ghee1tbsp

cardamom powder 1/4 tsp

cashewnuts 8

badam pista sliced 1tsp

 

Method-

 

wash the poha lightly.drain off the water. Grate the jaggery ,take in a bowl with 1/3 cup water.boil till the jaggery melts. Pour this over the washed poha cover it and keep aside 15 mins. Take a pan,heat the ghee.fry the cashewnuts. Add the soaked poha,coconut,cardamom mix well .off the gas. Garnish with badam pista and serve!
